Chief Executive Officer/President

Ken Kelly is a principal and the Chief Executive Officer/President at WSI Smart Marketing. He co-founded the company in 2007 and helped develop the plan to make WSI Smart Marketing a top agency producer focused on helping companies reach the next level of success.

Ken has 30 years of marketing and sales experience. As the former sales manager for a medical diagnostic company he co-founded and named, Immucor, Inc., he helped develop the sales regions and collaborated in the company business plan and marketing avenues to grow the company to rank number one in the world in its industry.

His past experience includes teaching at the high school and university level as well as teaching advanced sales skills and management in the medical field.

Ken holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington State University.

He is a husband, father of three sons, and grandfather to four exceptional grandchildren. He loves to write, coach and train in his areas of expertise. He is an active member of the community, BNI, Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce and Sonoma County Alliance.


VP Sales & Marketing Strategies

Ryan Kelly is a principal and the VP of Sales & Marketing Strategies of WSI Smart Marketing. He has 13 years of highly successful sales and marketing experience in Internet solutions and print advertising. Ryan has assisted numerous companies in developing and achieving profitable business strategies and goals. His expertise is in business management, Internet marketing and sales, website design, search engine optimization, and social media.

In his former position as Senior Account Executive/Media Consultant at Yellow Book USA, he was recognized as Top Producer, President’s Club Winner, and winner of the prestigious Winner Circle Award for Excellence, which is nationally recognized within the Internet marketing community.

Ryan’s experience in marketing, sales, and training keep him in high demand as a keynote speaker at such venues as North Bay Business Builders, Business Network International, Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce, Petaluma Chamber of Commerce, Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce, The Downtown Novato Business Association, WSI regional and national Internet marketing conferences, Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, the North Bay Association of Realtors, and more.

When Ryan is not working, he’s spending time with his beautiful wife Amanda, his ninja son Lincoln and his artistic daughter Abby. Ryan loves anything island. That’s right, island music, anywhere with a body of water he can sit next to and swim in and loves all island food.


Sr. Account Manager

Cynthia Barillas is the Senior Account Manager at WSI Smart Marketing. She has over 10 years of experience in marketing, sales, and graphic design and is a graduate of Sonoma State University, School of Business and Economics.

As Senior Account Manager, Cynthia provides outstanding hands-on service to clients and offers timely, innovative solutions to meet their needs.

Her knowledge in digital marketing includes Google Analytics reporting, conversion tracking and reporting, search engine optimization (SEO), paid search (traditional and advanced), display advertising and retargeting, account management, social media management and marketing, content management, and marketing automation.

Cynthia is part of the local community in Santa Rosa and loves traveling to new countries, attending sporting events, collecting vinyls, and spending time with family and friends. Cynthia’s favorite pastime is BBQ’ing in good weather, good music, and good company.


Director of Production

Judy Kelly is a principal and Director of Production at WSI Smart Marketing. As Director of Production for the past 10 years, she oversees and coordinates the digital content, design, image production, multi-media production and publishing in conjunction with cross-functional development teams to deliver and maintain first-class websites.

Judy enjoys working with clients to learn about their businesses and establish the scope of their projects to ensure quality solutions. She enjoys the process of planning, organizing, and promoting web content and site development that includes graphic design, content writing/editing, and web coding.

Judy attended Santa Rosa Junior College and graduated from College of Marin with a Certificate in Court Reporting. Her years of experience in court reporting as well as her studies in interior home design have grounded her creative ambitions and served her well in website design production and content writing.

Judy is married, the mother of three sons, and Nana to four amazing grandchildren. She loves to travel, garden, cook and read.


Sr. Project Manager

Brandon Kelly is the Senior Project Manager for WSI Smart Marketing. He possesses excellent management and organizational skills and has nine years of experience in web production with WSI. He supervises and tracks ongoing development of websites, manages coding personnel, and ensures that all multimedia and written and visual content are precisely formatted and integrated. He is responsible for new product launches.

Brandon is engaged in a number of supervisory roles to ensure consistent website presence. He manages a dedicated server and is proficient in working on diverse and complex issues that require in-depth analysis, evaluation, and resolution.

Brandon assists staff in development of online support strategies and is exceptional when it comes to teamwork. He focuses on providing excellent customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.

Family, friends, hiking, Netflix, and the world of investing are Brandon’s main interests.


Social Media Coordinator

Destinee Hayden is the Social Media Coordinator for WSI Smart Marketing. She grew up in the Central Valley and is now a Business Administration major at Sonoma State University, with a concentration in marketing.

Social media has become a critical component in any business’s marketing plan. As the social media coordinator, Destinee develops social media strategies by creating engaging and informative content for WSI and its clients. Social media platforms include Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, and more.

Destinee’s social media skills consist of forming a specific social media strategy to align with a company’s goals, generating and publishing original content, constructing a content calendar, providing excellent customer service by responding to followers, and analyzing and reporting on the impacts of social media on overall marketing efforts. She has a passion for social media and keeping up with new trends for online marketing.

Aside from posting on her own social media sites, Destinee enjoys traveling with her family and friends, trying new foods, and exploring the beautiful Bay Area on her free time. Her way of relaxing includes going to the mall or catching up on her favorite shows.
