Welcome back to SEO on the Go! My name is Ryan Kelly and I’m your host. Today, I’m going to be answering the question, “Does SEO really matter?” and the answer is maybe. You hate answers like that. So, let’s say that you’re an attorney that works by referral only and you don’t want to be found online or organically anywhere, then SEO should not be part of your campaign. However, if you’re a business that needs to be found by the public that might need your services, but doesn’t know who you are, but knows that they need someone like you where you’re located, then I think SEO is probably pretty important.
But it’s only as important as the rest of your plan because SEO works better if it’s being done with paid search, and content marketing does better when it’s being done with SEO, and you know conversion tracking should be tracking all the different ways that you’re doing your digital marketing. So, you know SEO is important if, at the end of the day, predictable lead generation is valuable for you. So, it matters but I think a holistic marketing approach matters. A percentage of your budget should be spent on digital marketing just like a percentage of your budget should not.
So, anyway, there you go. My name is Ryan Kelly, I would love it if you liked my video, subscribed to my channel, or asked me a question below in the comments.
