How Can You Build Your Brand Digitally?

Whether you own a small business or are at the helm of a multinational company, you need to come up with a plan to grow your online presence. More often than not, potential customers stroll right past businesses with little to no online presence. Building a brand digitally encompasses more than just creating a website with a flashy design or multiple social media accounts.

Use a Measurable Strategy/Plan

Arbitrary strategies/plans that cannot be measured will get your business nowhere. Clearly define every goal and milestone to ensure that you have measurable results to analyze the impacts of your efforts.

For instance, if your goal is to increase your Instagram followers by 100,000 in the next quarter, ask yourself important questions such as: What do you aim to achieve by increasing your followers? Do you want to establish your brand as an authority in your industry? Do you expect a certain percentage of your followers to convert to customers? Or do you think it is important for successful brand positioning?

Prior to setting goals, analyze how they will help your company move towards your goals. Instead of speculating, use tools to measure everything in terms of data for reliable data.

Use Intriguing Content to Tell Your Brand Story

You need to give your brand a shot of personality. Use an A-team of content creators to build a compelling brand story through content. Use different types of video content such as product reviews, tutorials, vlogs, and behind the scenes to build trust with and engage your target audience.

Regularly upload pictures and informational, interesting content to your website and social media accounts. Use data journalism to combine data with interesting stories. Use infographics to help your target audience consume complex data in an easy to understand way.
